Who We Are

We process Apostille/Authentications of American documents to use outside of the United States as well as Apostillas of Mexican documents to use outside of Mexico. We’re a Bonded, Licensed, and Insured company with more than 15 years of experience in streamlining paperwork for people around the world located in the Border City of San Diego, California USA and Tijuana, Baja California Mexico. As Apostille – Authentication – Embassy/Consulate Legalization – Notary Public – Translation experts, we’ve had the time to curate a selection of the most effective services for apostille certifications in all 50 States including the U.S. Federal Department of State Authentications in Washington D.C., Apostillado certifications from Mexico with certifications from a Mexican Notario Publico, as well as multiple language translations. We work as quickly as possible to give your paperwork the authority it needs to be accepted around the world.

Our dedication to dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s has earned us a place as official and an excellent Service Provider of Secretaries of State. When anyone entrusts us with their paperwork, we handle the apostille authentication process from start to finish. Our understanding of each document’s importance, as well as our community connections, allow us to move quickly on your behalf. Once we’ve done our due diligence and transported your original documents to whomever needs to contribute in order to legitimize them, they’ll have the Apostille, Authentication, Embassy/Consulate Legalization, Translation, U.S. Notary Public, and/or Mexico Notario Publico seal they need to get the job done.

A Dedication To Excellence

In all that we do, we are committed to excellence. We fully understand that, when it comes to the legalization and authentication of documents, accuracy is a must. An agency looking for an apostille stamp of approval needs genuinely authenticated papers, whatever the purpose may be. 123 Apostille is dedicated to providing reliable, accurate apostille services because we know our clients are counting on us to do the job right.

More About The Apostille Process

We understand that many people have questions about the apostille process, including what an apostille is and when it might be needed. We’ve tried to include as much as possible on our website to address these important questions. Feel free to browse through everything to learn more about apostille services and the process of document verification.

As far as our clients are concerned, the process is fairly straightforward. There are three basic steps you need to take care of. They are:

  1. Complete our order form and send in your documents
  2. Trust us to do our part (processing of your documents takes 1 to 7 business days)
  3. Receive your processed documents from us

Behind the scenes, there’s a lot that goes into the apostille process. Every case is different, and how long it takes us to process your documents depends on the complexity of the situation. There are several factors that go into processing, including (but not limited to) the following:

  • The type of document you have that needs to be apostilled, legalized, or authenticated
  • The agencies we need to work with (and their availability)
  • Any questions that come up during processing
  • Whether or not translation services are requested
  • Whether the country requesting an apostille is from a Hague Convention for Apostilles member nation

Apostille, Authentication, And Legalization

There are subtle but important differences between an apostille, an authentication, and embassy legalization, and there are different requirements depending on whether or not we’re dealing with a member nation that recognizes apostilles.

Take a look at the end of our What Is Apostille page to see which countries are members of the Hague Convention and recognize apostille certificates, which countries are in the process of becoming members, and which countries are non-members and require authentications instead of an official apostille.

Briefly, an apostille is a form of authentication that’s streamlined and simplified for quicker processing, and is accepted and understood by nations that participate in the Hague Convention of 1961.

An authentication performs the same duty as an apostille but is used by countries that aren’t members of the Hague Convention; in these cases, an embassy, consulate, or the U.S. Department of State may need to be included to provide additional authentication.

Embassy legalization may be required by some non-member countries, and this can add a bit more time to the process.

What’s more, we offer translation services for anyone who needs it, like translations from a “Perito de Mexico” or Translator from Spain (also known as “Traductor Jurado del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores”). Many of our agents speak Spanish, and we work with translators of all languages, enabling us to help when translations need to be done as part of our apostille and document verification services.
